Murray and Esme Byers operated Byers’ Drugs on Main Street from 1939 to 1969. The were involved in the community and contributed in many ways, giving away live Easter bunnies to children, bringing in fresh flowers for Valentine’s & Mother’s Day, and supplying local teens with the thickest milk shakes.
