Goods in Kind

Goods in Kind 1253

In the pioneering days, businessman we often paid with goods rather than money for services rendered and F.W. Lundy (with pipe), Stony Plain’s first lawyer, was no exception. Mr. Lundy managed his profession while being actively involved in the community. He was the Town’s first secretary-treasurer (1909-1929) and first elected member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Alberta (1917-1921).
