THE PLAN

  • Stop by the Pretzel Shack to fuel up for a day of shopping with authentic German baking & desserts.
  • Head downtown and visit Stony Plain’s selection of unique shopping experiences on Main Street.
  • Recharge at Dara’s with freshly brewed coffee or tea.
  • Visit the Crooked Pot Gallery at the Parkland Potter’s Guild.
  • Head to the 49 Avenue boutiques and visit Blake’s Bakery for mouth watering treats.
  • Finish off the day with a late lunch at Perk’s on Veterans Boulevard.

 

FIRST STOP, SNACKS

Start your day of downtown adventures with a freshly baked pretzel or dessert from Pretzel Shack, 4305 50 Street. Enjoy delicious baked goods at Stony Plain’s only authentic German bakery.

SHOP TIL YOU DROP!

Main Street is the place to be for unique shops and one-of-a-kind items. For snacking, stop by Kickass Caramels to sample and stock up on their famous caramels & sauces or visit Bakecraft Boutique & Bakery to try one of their many tasty treats.

REST & RELAX

 Be sure to visit Dara’s for your mid-shopping boost. Enjoy a selection of freshly brewed coffees and teas, and rest in their quaint in store café. Don’t forget to browse their lovely selection of home décor and giftware. 

A LOCAL GEM

Take a stroll on down to the Crooked Pot Gallery, 4912 51 Avenue to take in the hand-crafted original works from the members of the Parkland Potter’s Guild. Did you know that the members have been creating one-of-a-kind art pieces for over 40 years? Don’t miss the chance to take home a handmade, local treasure. 

BOUTIQUE BROWSING

Stony Plain is filled with hidden gems when it comes to shopping. Head on over to 49 Avenue and visit Shelly’s Finds, Whimsical Vintage Creations, Rocket & Roo and The Barn Owl for a selection of clothing, home décor and unique gifts. While you are there, be sure to head on into Blake’s Bakery and treat yourself to one of their homemade cookies, cakes, or squares.

JUST ONE MORE BITE

Consider stopping for a light lunch at Perks Coffee House 4200 Veterans Boulevard. With offerings of homemade soups, sandwiches and desserts, they are the perfect, relaxing end to a bustling day around town.
